In the seventh lunar month of 1221, Konoe Iezane was made Advisor. In the twelfth lunar month, he was given the title of Minister of Governance, but in the fourth lunar month of 1222, it was removed from him. In the twelfth lunar month of 1223, Konoe Iezane was made Chancellor once again, but in the twelfth lunar month of 1228, he was removed from that title. He was succeeded by Kujō Michiie.
