Kujō Norizane (21 January 1211 - 23 April 1235; 九条 教実) was Chancellor of Japan in the apex of his career.
Kujō Norizane was born into the Kujō clan, a branch of the Fujiwara clan, as the son of Kujō Michiie. He thus may be called Fujiwara Norizane in old texts. His son was Kujō Tadaie.
He was said to be a beautiful man in both body and spirit by the Masukagami, and that his death at a young age was mourned.
His tenure as Minister of the Right lasted from 1227 to 1231; in that title, he was preceded by Ōimikado Morotsune and succeeded by Konoe Kanetsune.
His tenure as Minister of the Left lasted from 1231 to 1235; in that title, he was preceded by Kujō Yoshihira and succeeded by Konoe Kanetsune.
His tenure as Chancellor lasted from 1231 to 1232; in that title, he was preceded by Kujō Michiie and succeeded by himself as Advisor.
His tenure as Advisor lasted from 1232 to 1235; in that title, he was preceded by himself as Chancellor and succeeded by Kujō Michiie.
